6+ years of professional experience in different areas of GIS data management including one and half years of experience in cathodic protection data creation and management with expertise in:
- Well understanding of gas pipeline cathodic protection data management process.
- Editing, processing and loading cathodic protection measurement data received from field technicians into central enterprise database through customized application.
- Creation, modification and correction of cathodic protection facilities into database through GIS application.

- Creation of GIS data through digitizing, georeferencing; and managing GIS data including data mining and conversion, managing relational database using query, report and forms.
- Experience of collecting and integrating GPS data.
- Strong understanding of cartography and map presentation.
- Knowledge of CAD drawing using AutoCAD.

August 2007 to Present as GIS Technologist, TransCanada Pipelines Ltd. Calgary, AB, Canada. Working in Cathodic Protection team within Data Integrity group.
- Meeting team objective in managing cathodic protection data, creating CP entities for the central oracle database, updated yearly and monthly CP survey data.
July, 2003 to December, 2003 as Teaching Assistant, Department of Geography, Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), Trondheim, Norway.
- Successfully instructed 30 students to complete several academic projects on remote sensing and GIS. Assisted Professor Axel Baudouin to formulate practical project outline. Evaluated students on class participation and assignments.
July 1998 to June 2002 as GIS Assistant, FM-International Oy FINNMAP, Dhaka, Bangladesh. Worked in Map Production and Cartography group.
- Help accomplishing Topographical Mapping Project of the costal region of Bangladesh. Georeferenced aerial photos, produce rectified mosaic, create vector data, produced final topographic map at 1:10,000 scale.
